QIZ Security has raised $17 million in a seed round led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Merlin Ventures, with participation from Evolution Equity Partners, Qbeat Ventures, Singtel Innov8, and Qino Cyber Capital. The funding will support product development, growth, and market expansion as organizations prepare for the transition to quantum-safe cybersecurity.

The company focuses on helping enterprises discover, assess, manage, and modernize their cryptographic infrastructure. Its platform provides continuous visibility into cryptographic assets, identifies vulnerabilities and risks, and supports organizations in planning and executing their transition to post-quantum cryptography (PQC).

The need for these solutions is growing as experts warn that quantum computers could eventually break widely used encryption. At the same time, migrating large and complex enterprise systems to quantum-safe standards can take years, making early preparation increasingly important.

Founded by Ben Volkow, Lenny Ridel, and Dr. Itan Barmes, QIZ is gaining traction across financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, and critical infrastructure. The company also works with major technology and consulting organizations including Cisco, AWS, Google, CrowdStrike, Deloitte, EY, and IBM.

The investment comes amid increasing regulatory and industry pressure around cryptographic modernization, including frameworks such as NIST PQC, CNSA 2.0, DORA, NIS2, and PCI DSS.
