Gerhard Auer

Gerhard Auer (56) has more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance advisory and equities research.

He holds a MA in Commercial Sciences from the Vienna University for Economics and Business Administration and the CySEC Advanced Certificate. He spent 10 years in London first as analyst and later Head of Research at ICE Securities Ltd (1994 until 2000) and then setting up and running the Qino business operations (2000 until 2004). From 2004 until 2011 he served as the managing director of Ocean Consulting GmbH in Vienna.

In 2011 he moved to Cyprus to set up the Qino operations there. He was involved in numerous M&A and capital markets transactions (EYYES, C-Quadrat, Update Software, Scala Business Solutions, Pankl Racing Systems, SolveDirect, Heilig & Schubert, Jajah, Fabasoft, etc.)  and served as supervisory board member in some of these companies.
